Elizabeth "Beth" Jackalope
My name is Beth and I am a forest fire of a girl. Aspiring game designer who is, as always, a work in progress. She/her trans lesbian.
Please excuse the mess this, much like myself, is a work in progress.
I'm an indie RPG game writer experimenting with micro games while working on my first big title. My focus is games about telling a story more than winning and that have mechanics that are and extension of the theme. I'm a queer girl making queer games.
below is a quick reference table of all my games finished and in progress but for full info, credits, and links to their individual itch pages check the page links underneath.
My work can all be found on my Itch.io page here

Gorgon Dating
Gorgon Dating is a GM-less dice-less 1 page RPG for 3 players that combines all the fun of being Medusa with all the horror of internet dating. All you need is a free evening, 2 friends, a handful of note cards, and some writing implements of your choosing. One player takes the role of Medusa who just wants to find a nice girl to go on cute dates with meanwhile the other two players take the roles of her sisters Stheno and Euryale who provide equal parts support and good old fashioned sisterly ribbing.
The goal is to have fun and laugh and waste an evening in good company. If you are trying to win this game then you are thinking about it wrong. After all, much like real internet dating, there is no way to win.

A Lonely Throne
An Ace travels the world and they come across what remains of a once great kingdom. There in the very centre they find the only living soul sat on a lonely throne. The one who ruled this land has lost their people, their status, their riches, and the one they truly loved.
Together the two of them will help each other survive and rebuild the broken kingdom.
A 2 player micro game that uses nothing more than a pack of playing cards. A Lonely Throne is a game about loss and desolation and pain. On the other hand A Lonely Throne is also about rebuilding and recovery and the act of starting over.

Mousemate
Mousemate is an epistolary game set in a cottage where the new owner discovers a letter from the local mice and does the only logical thing and writes them a reply. The game takes place in real time so you can take your time and respond to the other player after a day or two. So it's good if you don't have time to sit down with a friend for a few hours at a time. It's kind of like a LARP about being house mates except one of the players is a mouse.
This is a rules light system. Like a really rules light system. One could even argue it is entirely rules free and is just a loose framework of a game. Chill vibes and relaxed pace for those looking for a real casual game to play.

There's a Monster in this House and its Name is Our Love
2 people who love each other remember the good and bad times that happened in the house they live in. With each memory they see the problems they are having take shape. They define the monster that has come between them. By the end of the night they answer the question of if they are going to stay and fight or walk away.
Growing Up Magical
You've heard the story many times before: a child wanders into an Other World and has grand magical adventures. But what happens after that story ends? When the child has to come home to their normal life in a normal house and go to normal school with normal children and learn normal lessons. Keeping their adventures a secret or else face the constant refrain of "You're just making this up for attention."
That is until they meet each other and learn they aren't alone. There are others just like them. By helping each other with their pain they just might learn how to help themselves.
A game about queer/disabled teenagers. A game about love and vulnerability. A game about dealing with trauma. A game about finding the magic in this mundane world.
That's Capitalism Baby
A game where your character stats are determined by the contents of your wallet
Kissing Girls in Holy Places
One of the bravest things any girl can do is look another girl in the eyes and ask "can I kiss you?"
A game following two girls through their teen years and into young adulthood. 5 moments in time where they are alone together.
Carpathia
Long after humanity has faded and gone aliens come down to planet earth. The only people there to meet them are the robots and ai that we left behind. Those robots tell the aliens about humanity, about how they personified everything, about how they gave objects names and pronouns, about how they treated their machines like they were alive. Most of all they talk about how humanity cared.
